My name is Adriano Tota, I am 40 years
old and my zodiac sign is the same as Fidel Castro: Leo!
Eaven if I really do not look like him!And what’s more,
I did not even serve in the Army! At 19 I was performing
community service at the Turin Town Hall, I was enrolled
at University and I already owned a small computer firm
with other associate partners. The result? At the Town
Hall I was a sort of “absconder”; at University they
only saw me when paying enrolment fees and when taking
some unsuccessful exams... On the other hand, business
was thriving, because I used to work 24 hours a day.
To tell you the truth, I started to work
at 14. I used to attend left-wing circles and
associations, therefore all musical and cultural
initiatives, concerts and festivals arranged by red
cooperatives or by somehow related societies: more
precisely, I was in charge of the security until I
became the head of security at the age of 16! In a few
words, when something dangerous happened, I told others
what to do and I disappeared! Thanks to such experience,
passion for art and music grew inside of me... and it
recently turned into a real job.
As
already mentioned at the beginning of this short story,
between 19 and 20 years of age I was the co-owner of a
computer concern. At 23, on 17th May 1991, I brought
myself to the “big jump up the ladder”. I decided to do
on my own, not because of quarrelsome relations with my
old partners and companions, but for obvious differences
in interpreting business (what a big word!). Afterwards,
also thanks to the help of some friends - including
banks (I insist on specifying it, because people always
speak ill of them!) - I rented an old hangar and started
distributing computer components to specialised
retailers: that comes Interdata SRL, a company created
to sell to major users and for the national and
international distribution of any product related to the
field of computing. A small holding company that over
the years has created Il Supermercato del Computer, the
maxi store devoted to selling direct to the end user,
and Nex Computer Shop, a chain of franchise stores,
devoted to direct sales to individuals and small and
medium company.
In 1999 Micromax Spa (currently
conglobate in the group
Esprinet SpA, quoted on
the stock exchange with good results) buys the Interdata
and I follow this step managing communication, publicity
and human resources management.
In those days, the general business climate was not that
lucrative, but... oh dear!... for me it really was a
qualitative leap in all senses. In a few years, I built
a little industrial empire, having a turnover of dozens
of billions lire, which I later resold between 1998 and
1999.
Of course such experience gave me and
taught me a lot; nowadays, I lead a completely different
life, made of music, but I still offer my professional
advice to various firms and multinationals which
constantly seek expert and internationally qualified
freelance collaborators.
With experience in the world of TV made
in marketing for the company Interdata (as in the case
of
Sanscemo Festival for
which I was art director for three years), I am
dedicated to this world getting some significant
successes for my professional experience, as exemplified
by the national television campaign for
SASCH,
in the years 2003 and 2004 , used as a testimonial of my
groups, the
Clan 537 in the same
period has given its contribution to transmissions such
Miss Italia, Miss Italia Nel Mondo, Quelli che il
calcio, Cronache Marziane and Top Of The Pops.
Among my hits just can not remember to
Boris TRIBÀ with the group, with the summer tormentone "Mama
ballar to Teach" for a whole year was present in all
major TV and radio stations. Among the events taking
place, I can only recall with pleasure from the success
of the New Year 2007, organized in collaboration with
RAI and the City of Turin, with whom he celebrated the
entry of Romania in Europe.
Regarding the advice in Italy and around
the world some of the activities most satisfaction were
those who had seen me personal adviser of President
Oscar Farinetti, with whom I have worked for all its
recent successes from "

Specifically with the president I followed the whole
plan and designing the campaign, the study

Roberto Demeglio and
RDG with whom the
organization collaborating business, marketing and
communication and financial planning, without ever
neglecting my musical activities, as chairman of
Femi Europe, a division of
Fuego Entertainment,

In some articles published by Italian
magazines and dailies, I have been defined as "the man
who solves problems" and I really do like this
expression. My new life is also largely appreciated by
airline companies, flying me every month from Italy to
Spain, England, Cuba and Mexico… in short, where I am
needed for my music and my professional advice.I hope
